*Bondi Beach - live-in Nanny / Au pair wanted
We are looking for a caring, confident and reliable person to help look after our two girls (aged 5 and 7) and boy (nearly 4) from Sunday 30 August to 20 December 2009. The girls go to school and our boy is at pre-school two days a week. They are energetic, gorgeous and interested in discovering new things. They especially love the beach, swimming and reading stories. Our home is about 500 metres from Bondi Beach.
We have a lovely au pair living with us at the moment, who has become very much a part of our family, but unfortunately after spending 9 months with us she has to go home to Germany to finish her studies.
So, we are looking for a live-in au pair. The accommodation is on a separate level to the rest of the house. You will have your own double bedroom (with TV), bathroom and kitchen. There is a separate entrance from the garden to this level of the house. There is wireless internet access through-out the house. Food is provided and you can either have your meals with us or make your own meals.
You must have a drivers license and be confident driving the children to and from school and pre-school (in our automatic car).
We also need you to take our boy for an outing to the beach or park on Wednesdays and Fridays, prepare kids' school lunches and dinners, make sure the kids have a bath and keep the house running generally by doing the things we would be doing if we were at home. For example, we need someone who is happy to do the family washing, empty the dish-washer and keep the house tidy. (We have cleaners - so we are not looking for someone to do heavy cleaning).
The hours are:
Monday and Tuesday - early morning and afternoon to evening (ie. you are free during the middle of the day).
Wednesday and Friday - all day (only our 4 year old boy is at home during the middle of the day).
Thursday - Day off.
Saturday and Sunday – Days off (apart from possible baby-sitting one night on the weekend).
We are offering $300 per week.
